7 Days Cat-Sitting Beginner Guide

Learn the normal house routine, finish Whiskers' chores, investigate anomalies carefully, and reach bedtime safely in 7 Days Cat-Sitting.

7 Days Cat-Sitting becomes much easier when you stop treating every object as a puzzle. Your first job is to learn the ordinary house: where Whiskers eats, where the litter box sits, where you prepare dinner, how the front door locks, and which lights, windows, curtains, and appliances normally need attention. Once that baseline is familiar, the wrong detail is easier to notice.

This is a survival routine, not a fixed monster schedule. Current walkthroughs agree on the core chores but do not prove that every anomaly belongs to a particular day. Follow the objective and interaction prompts in your current server whenever they differ from an older recording.

Your first five minutes

Enter through the official Roblox experience, read the live objective, and make one calm tour before experimenting. Locate the kitchen cupboard and cat bowl, litter area, living-room television, dinner appliance, front door and lock, mailbox, bathroom, bedroom, windows, curtains, and any smaller room whose door can close.

Desktop videos may show keys such as E for interaction or P for the phone. Touch and controller layouts can be different. Use the prompt shown by your own Roblox client rather than memorizing a creator’s keybind.

Complete chores instead of tapping once

The normal loop reported across current walkthroughs is to feed Whiskers, clean the litter box, play with the laser pointer, collect the mail, prepare and eat dinner, then leave the house secure before sleeping. Not every objective has to appear in the same order. Do the task the game currently presents and use the complete list as a bedtime check.

Watch for completion feedback. Laser play normally has progress to fill. Litter cleanup has its own interaction rather than ending when you first touch the box. Collecting mail is not the same as leaving the front door open afterward. Preparing food is not the same as eating it. The Daily Chores checklist gives a faster room-by-room pass once you know the layout.

Tell normal Whiskers from an event

Whiskers can behave strangely without every moment demanding the same response. If the cat appears human-like, current walkthroughs commonly advise watching rather than panicking. A giant cat visible outdoors is the separate Catzilla event and is associated with the television. A full-screen HIDE warning is another event entirely.

Do not default to the phone camera. Community guides associate photos with the Tall Man and misplaced objects, while other events call for a curtain, toilet flush, light, TV, hiding place, or simply staying inside. Read the cue first, then consult the Anomalies index if the safe response is not obvious.

Use a one-action investigation rule

When something changes, stop your chore and describe what you can actually see: room, object, sound, message, and whether the normal route is blocked. Choose one response supported by that cue. Wait for the visual, audio, objective, or environment to settle before doing anything else.

This matters because several broad reactions can interfere with each other. Closing every curtain, turning off every light, taking random photos, and running outside at once leaves no clear evidence about what solved the event. If you fail, change one decision on the next attempt and keep the ordinary chores correct.

Build a safe bedtime circuit

Treat the bed as a checkpoint, not a cleanup button. Before using it, make a short circuit through the house:

  1. Confirm Whiskers was fed and laser play completed if requested.
  2. Confirm the litter interaction finished.
  3. Check that mail was collected, the front door is closed, and the lock was used when available.
  4. Confirm you prepared and ate your dinner.
  5. Close the refrigerator and reset the cooking appliance.
  6. Turn off the television unless an active anomaly specifically needs it.
  7. Look for an unresolved warning, strange figure, changed object, open curtain, or abnormal bathroom state.

Official badge names such as Starved, Cold as Ice, and Screen Time match community reports about skipped dinner, an open refrigerator, and sleeping with the TV on. Roblox does not publicly describe those exact triggers, so use them as a practical warning rather than a guaranteed formula.

Recover from a bad result

Read the result name and check whether a Roblox badge was awarded. Then recall the last confirmed state of dinner, door, refrigerator, TV, cat care, litter, and the active anomaly. If several things were wrong, the result cannot tell you which one caused the failure.

On the next run, preserve every normal task and alter only the suspected mistake. If an object will not respond, step back, check the held item, approach again, and see whether another objective must finish first. Rejoining is a last resort because it removes the house-state evidence you need to diagnose the run.

A sensible learning order

Aim first for one clean night, then a full normal week. After that, learn the response families in the anomaly index. Attempt secret or omission endings only when the safe routine feels automatic. That order lets you recognize a deliberate change rather than accidentally stacking several failure conditions.

For the normal completion route, continue to the full walkthrough. For a named result, use All Endings. Keep a note with the cue, response, confirmation, and outcome when current behavior differs from a guide; the game was updated on October 24, 2026, so older videos can lag behind the live version.

Beginner FAQ

Should I rush because the title says seven days?

No real-time deadline is publicly established. Work through the current objectives carefully and use the day transition shown by the game.

Can another player complete my chores?

Roblox lists a maximum server size of 16, but that alone does not prove shared house progress. Confirm objective ownership in your own session.

Is every strange sight dangerous?

Not in the same way. Identify the cue before acting; photo, curtain, light, TV, flush, hiding, and waiting responses are not interchangeable.
